About Penval Construction

Your Friend in the Business for More Than 30 Years

More than three decades ago, Jack Strogus and Joe Cacciola started PenVal Construction because they saw something missing in the remodeling business: a contractor homeowners could trust.

Before PenVal, they had completed kitchen renovations, bathroom remodels, and other projects for friends and family. Time after time, they heard the same sentiment:

"It's so good to have someone I trust who knows what they're doing. I wouldn't know where to begin otherwise."

Jack and Joe took those words to heart and built PenVal around a simple promise: provide quality workmanship at a fair price, give customers straight answers, and treat their homes as if they belonged to a friend.

In July 2021, PenVal lost Jack, one of its founders. While Jack is deeply missed, the values he and Joe built the company around continue to guide PenVal today.

In 2023, PenVal began its next chapter in Conshohocken, PA, continuing to serve homeowners throughout the Main Line and surrounding communities.

Today, whether you need a General Contractor, Kitchen remodeling, bathroom renovation, finished basement, a deck installation, or help with another home improvement project, that original promise hasn't changed.

From the top of your house to the bottom of your basement, call your friend in the business — PenVal Construction.

We had a pipe burst in a powder room next to laundry room. PenVal was sent by our insurance company and they were excellent. Work was done in a very timely manner, the workers themselves were friendly and skilled. Would definitely use them again.

Mary K
PenVal did a fantastic job on our bathroom renovation project. They upgraded the sink, vanity, did a super job on the floor tile as well as the shower tile. The new shower and fixtures look amazing. The PenVal workers were courteous, protected our hardwood floors and cleaned up their work space everyday. They were a real pleasure.
